Can I use permanent hair color as a toner?

The answer is yes, you can use permanent hair color as another option for a hair toner. Typically, people will use demi-permanent instead, to tone your hair, and the result will also be natural and soft as when using toner.

When it comes to permanent hair dye as a toner, it would be more suitable to tone blonde hair instead of highlights. The reason is there might be original hair between these highlighted strands, and this kind of hair dye will also lighten your natural hair.

After all, no matter which product you choose to tone your hair for a flawless hair color, you should always pay your attention and delicacy to it and the result is gonna be worth it.
